Privacy Policy
As U Luv It is a nightly call experience. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. The short version: your nights are yours. We do not run ads, we do not sell your words, and you can take everything with you and delete it at any time.
What we collect
- Account basics. An email address if you join the founding list or create an account. A device token so your nightly call can reach your phone.
- What you say at night. Your tap choices, typed answers, and — only when you choose to speak — voice audio. Voice is transcribed to text to generate the conversation; by default the audio itself is deleted after transcription.
- Kept lines. The one line you choose to keep each night is stored so your shadow can remember it tomorrow.
- Basic diagnostics. Crash logs and anonymous performance data, not linked to your identity.
We do not collect your contacts, location, photos, browsing history, or advertising identifiers. We do not use tracking as defined by Apple's App Tracking Transparency — you will never see an ATT prompt from us.
How we use it
- To place your nightly call at the time you chose, hold the conversation, and remember what you kept.
- To fulfill purchases (processed by Apple or Stripe; we never see full card numbers).
- To fix crashes and keep the service reliable.
We do not use your conversations for advertising, and we do not sell or rent your data to anyone. Conversations are processed by our AI providers solely to generate responses, under agreements that prohibit using your content to train their models.
Who touches your data
- AI processing — voice synthesis and conversation generation (processing only, no training).
- Payments — Apple App Store or Stripe.
- Infrastructure — Cloudflare (hosting, database).
Each processor receives only what it needs to do its job.
Your choices
- Export. Settings → “take your lines with you” gives you every kept line and answer as a file.
- Delete. Settings → “end and erase” deletes your account and all associated data from our systems within 30 days. We offer your export first, so nothing you kept is lost.
- Voice. You can use the app entirely by tapping; the microphone only activates when you choose to speak.
Retention
Kept lines and answers stay while your account exists. Voice audio is deleted after transcription by default. Diagnostics are retained up to 90 days.
Children
As U Luv It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

As U Luv It is a self-reflection experience, not therapy or medical care. If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services or a crisis line (in the US, call or text 988).
Changes and contact
